I am passionate developer who thrives on original creations. I particularly enjoy focusing on creating projects from the ground up. I have the skills to be effective in fields of website development, data anaylsis, and cloud computing. I am very interested in bleeding edge technology, embedded software, and aerospace.
As part of the MIS program at Alabama, we had our end-of-college project in which a client paid the MIS program for real contract work. The goal of this project was to create a website and system to modernize and streamline the collection of heavy geospatial imagery.
• I contributed to designing and implementing a website with a FastAPI backend and React frontend, which included an interactive map allowing users to query and view images of locations of interest.
• Created a search engine using NLTK to translate natural language queries into actionable parameters, enhancing user experience and search accuracy.
• Integrated various external datasets to identify and highlight critical infrastructure near areas of interest, thereby improving data relevance and decision-making capabilities.
My first true experience in a professional software development environment. I learned a lot about cloud operations, DevOps, and building fullstack applications. I immersed myself in a professional environment while honing advanced software development skills. Specifically, aimed to gain expertise in DevSecOps, DevOps, and cloud computing technologies such as AWS and Azure.
• Engineered a robust shopping cart application. Utilized a .NET backend architecture and leveraged AWS services for scalability, while crafting a user-friendly frontend.
• Completed a comprehensive AWS Cloud Practitioner course, culminating in achieving the official AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification. This has solidified my understanding of cloud-based services and infrastructure.
• Acquired in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in DevOps, Cybersecurity, and DevSecOps workflows, streamlining development cycles and enhancing security protocols.
I founded the club with another student and grew it to have hundredds of members. This taught me a lot about organizing larger meetings, events, and how to teach people new concepts in a presentable way. I wanted to enlighten club members and the broader student community about the transformative potential and practical applications of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
• Spearheaded the club's growth, elevating active membership to 400 participants since its inception in 2021.
• Curating and delivering weekly presentations, offering insights into current market trends and predictive analyses of the cryptocurrency landscape.
• Orchestrating effective social media campaigns, broadening the club's reach, and facilitating a network of cryptocurrency enthusiasts across the campus.
• Developing a comprehensive, four-tier cryptocurrency education curriculum, mandated for all active members, to ensure foundational understanding and advanced proficiency.
I ensured an exceptional golfing experience for club members and guests through meticulous maintenance and problem-solving.
• Responsible for comprehensive ground care, equipment maintenance, and collaborative problem-solving to maintain optimal course conditions.
• Thrived in a high-stress environment, particularly during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing resilience and adaptability.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic by consistently putting in early hours and working 6-7 days a week.
I wanted to elevate the poolside experience for guests through seamless food and beverage service operations.
• Conducted training for over 20 staff members, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Optimized operational workflows and collaborated closely with the establishment's management for supply procurement.
• Assembled and managed high-performing teams, particularly during peak holiday seasons, to meet the elevated demands of the summer schedule.
